The ripple effect of offering to journey alongside someone in difficult circumstances is far reaching.  It impacts, shapes and changes so many hearts and thoughts, often in ways that won’t be known until later.  Love INC’s call center is unique. It is an opportunity to share burdens, build up and encourage, pray, and point to Christ, who is the answer to all our struggles. Recently a volunteer agreed to give an individual on a long, difficult cancer journey a ride to a medical appointment.  The conversation was a blessing. He shared some of his own story, hardship, and the grace freely given, which gave hope and courage to face moving forward. Blessings go both ways.  Many times, when we step up to bless others, we find ourselves receiving so much more.  Understanding that “need” goes so much deeper than the tangible item is part of the Love INC philosophy.  When we link arms and face the storm together, looking for long term solutions and not short-term relief, we bring God’s Kingdom to that situation in countless ways, and we help heal hurts from the inside out.   We serve a good, good Father!
